Jacob Sends His Family & Stuff Across A River
Jacob rises up that night.
He gathers his two wives and his two female-servants and his 11 sons.
He passes them over a dam on the [stony, gushing, treacherous] Jabbok river which pours out into the Jordan River.
His family safely across the stream, Jacob sends over all his possessions (his workers and family members carry their animals and goods across).
Jacob grimaces, seeing a covered wagon wash down the river.
