The movie suffers from a script that's about 25 minutes too long, with a few unlikely coincidences, a very forgettable title, and, like all horse-race movies, the lack of serious reason to be initially interested (it's about a horse-race.) βInspiring movie which slowly reveals its sweet heart. Lots of Indiana Jones-style killing: bloodless fantasy consequence-free killing. Several unnecessary "D" and "H" words. Otherwise, a fine family film with many great messages about perseverance & loyalty, and of course, saving endangered animals. A shamanistic scene at the climax feels a bit forced.β
